In this episode, Gary & Jonathan discuss the week in the gym, including their own training and the new vibe among members and athletes:

  1. Mental toughness is an important part of training.  If you tell yourself you can’t perform an exercise, you’re more inclined to not try as hard.
  2. Positive mindset goes a long way during a workout.
  3. Understanding the mechanics of a movement is just as important as performing the movement.  You can have all the strength in the world to do a muscle up, but until you understand proprioception and cues, the movement will continue to be a challenge.
